Day - to - Day
Implement libraries, algorithms, and tools for processing Lidar data to push the state-of-the-art in lidar perception and related perception challenges.
Test and field algorithms for real-time operation on autonomous vehicles at scale in challenging environments.
Work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless and robust implementation
Propose cutting edge S/W algorithms for the future autonomous driving systems.
Qualifications
Master's/Phd Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Extensive experience working with Lidar sensors, deep insights into the mechanisms of the sensors, and their strengths and limitations.
Familiar with point cloud related algorithms such as segmentation, ICP, SLAM, etc. Familiar with different point cloud representations, such as voxels, occupancy grids, etc.
Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, geometry and probability
Strong C++ software development skills.
Experience developing software under strong realtime performance requirements.
Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team.
Nice to Have
Experience with ROS, OpenCV ROS 2
Track record in deploying perception algorithms into real world environments
Experience with autonomous driving technologies
