About Us 

BlueSpace.ai is building the next generation of self-driving technology to create safety certainty needed for truly driverless vehicles. Our patented 4D Predictive Perception enables this by calculating all objects’ motion from next-gen 4D sensors. BlueSpace.ai’s team brings experience from all over the autonomous vehicles (AV) industry, including OEMs, world class research institutions, and autonomous driving companies. 

 Day - to - Day  

  • Implement libraries, algorithms, and tools for processing Lidar data to push the state-of-the-art in lidar perception and related perception challenges. 

  • Test and field algorithms for real-time operation on autonomous vehicles at scale in challenging environments.

  • Work closely with other teams to ensure a seamless and robust implementation

  • Propose cutting edge S/W algorithms for the future autonomous driving systems.

Qualifications

  • Master's/Phd Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Extensive experience working with Lidar sensors, deep insights into the mechanisms of the sensors, and their strengths and limitations.

  • Familiar with point cloud related algorithms such as segmentation, ICP, SLAM, etc. Familiar with different point cloud representations, such as voxels, occupancy grids, etc.

  • Strong analytical skills in linear algebra, geometry and probability

  • Strong C++ software development skills.

  • Experience developing software under strong realtime performance requirements.

  • Strong team player, comfortable working in a vibrant, diverse and interdisciplinary team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ROS, OpenCV ROS 2

  • Track record in deploying perception algorithms into real world environments

  • Experience with autonomous driving technologies
