Salary: $100,000- $125,000+ bonus
Job Summary:
The Region Manager is responsible for driving sales and execution for Beatbox Party Punch through key wholesalers and retail partners within a specific state or states. In this role, you will be working directly with the Region Director, managing a team, and wholesalers, and working with select retail account buyers
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities, overseeing and guiding the performance of team members within the region.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support specific, identified state/s to drive distribution, display execution, and merchandising standards within the wholesalers in the state/s.
- Manage a team of BeatBox employees within the state/s to develop, work with, and coach toward the success of BeatBox Beverages.
- Develop a strong relationship with key wholesaler management and their sales team.
- Overview and insights, along with Distributor Manager, for wholesaler inventory levels. Coaching if necessary, or taking on responsibilities if no Distributor Managers.
- Establish a call frequency and relationship with chain accounts to drive distribution and sales.
- Full understanding and ability to leverage tools at your disposal to provide strategic oversight of the business: IRI, Brand Plans, VIP, etc.
- Manage and develop the following processes: Pricing strategy development & price increase sell-in, Cents per case audits, forecasting reviews, identifying future market trends, and developing solutions/plans to lead future growth.
- Adherence to CRM Platform and having the team adhere to the documentation for ALL in-market store visits. Region Sales Manager's visit goals = monthly (20), quarterly (60), and annually (220).
- Minimum 1 per quarter top to top business review with all wholesalers as assigned by Division VP.(In person meetings when possible, virtual video calls if necessary.
- Minimum of one GSM presentation per wholesaler every 6 months, in person where possible.
- Annual business plan development, presentation & execution.
- Seek marketing opportunities- Lead person in all large special events within assigned territory.
- Participate and be responsible for pilot projects and brand strategies on an ad-hoc basis.
- Deliver a monthly review for assigned wholesaler performance to Sr. Management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Sales Leadership: Regional Sales Managers should be able to set clear sales targets, provide guidance, mentor team members, and create a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the region is critical. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities and challenges, and creating strategies to maximize revenue growth and market share within the designated region.
- Market Knowledge: Aware of market dynamics, customer preferences, competition, and regulatory considerations to make informed decisions and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the region is essential for success.
- Data Analysis and Performance Management: Proficiency in data analysis tools and metrics is important for tracking sales performance, evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs), and making data-driven decisions.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of Sales background within the beverage industry.
- Managed a team of 3 or more people for a minimum of 3 years.
- Must currently have equivalent work experience to a Commercial Manager or higher.
- Must live within the Primary geographic assigned territory.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
- Ability to work with Senior Management across all departments.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
