Job Summary
The primary function of the Sales Finance Manager is to support all members of the BeatBox Sales Team with a broad array of reports and analyses of our sales at all levels. These reports and analyses will be a primary tool for various members of the sales team to successfully grow BeatBox sales in all domestic markets. They will include historical trends of key components of sales as well as some forward-looking analyses to help provide guidance to the team to drive continued growth.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but is subject to change.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Supports BeatBox Beverages' Core Values and Purpose
- Proactively address sales team reporting needs by actively mining available data sources including VIP, IRI, and other data resources we may acquire in the future.
- Build, maintain, and distribute a set of daily, weekly, & monthly reports to Vice Presidents, Regional Directors, & National Account Directors at various levels of aggregation from Distributor level up to Total US.
- Analyze distributor, SKU, & category sales performance to provide insights and direction as to future activity and course correction measures where appropriate.
- Assist the Sr. Business and category Director in preparing reports for corporate stakeholders including the Leadership Team and Investors
- Serve as a help desk and point of contact for the sales team to aid in their use of various data sources in the execution of their daily selling activities.
- Respond to all requests from sales team members for ad hoc reporting and analysis to support sales efforts in the field.
- Provide support to the Production Team on an as-needed basis based on workflow fluctuations.
- Special projects as designated by the Sr. Business and category Director.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Conduct thorough financial analyses to assess sales performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Develop, manage, and optimize budgets for the sales department, including accurate forecasting of sales revenues and expenses.
- Create and present comprehensive sales reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and variance analyses.
- Apply strategic thinking to align financial goals with overall business objectives and contribute to sales strategy development.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Maintain a proven track record of accurate sales forecasting, considering market trends, industry benchmarks, and internal factors.
- Apply knowledge of risk management principles to assess and mitigate financial risks associated with sales operations.
- Utilize proficiency in creating financial models to simulate various scenarios and support decision-making processes.
- Ensure strong attention to detail to maintain accuracy in financial data, reports, and analysis.
- Apply negotiation skills to structure financial deals aligning with the company's financial objectives while supporting the sales team's goals.
- Demonstrate adaptability to changing market conditions, business strategies, and sales goals, adjusting financial plans accordingly.
- Exhibit leadership skills to effectively manage and lead a finance team supporting the sales function.
- Understand key sales metrics and translate them into financial insights.
- Ensure familiarity with sales tax regulations and maintain compliance in financial processes.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or university; or two years’ experience in sales analysis. Beer category experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expert in Microsoft Excel & Power BI
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
