DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote

Term: Full-time

Reports to: CTO

About the Job

You will wear many hats and will be responsible for:

  • DevOps: Automate the deployment and testing of Babylon’s services

  • Site Reliability: Quantize and automate the monitoring of Babylon’s services

  • Platform: Automate the lifecycle of the infrastructure hosting Babylon’s services

You’ll be actively working on enhancing the above 3 facets on Babylon’s services, i.e.:

  • Blockchain networks (testnets, devnets) and peripheral programs

  • Web Services (eg network explorers, blockchain data aggregators, …)

About You

You are a mid-level DevOps engineer who is highly adaptable and thrives on wearing many hats. You love learning from others, as well as helping them out. You are a team player, direct and open-minded. You want to deliver, have high work standards and are responsible.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience on running containerized workloads on Kubernetes

  • 1+ years of experience with GitOps (Helm Charts, fluxcd)

  • Experience with any top 3 Cloud Provider (AWS preferred)

  • Proficient in Linux management and scripting

  • Familiarity with open-source observability tooling (Prometheus stack, EFK)

Preferred:

  • Experience in operating Cosmos / Bitcoin infrastructure, and overall understanding of blockchain networks

  • Familiarity with Terraform
