Our team is looking for an energetic and organized Customer Integration Project Manager who will primarily be responsible for building operational systems and platforms for customers and missions scheduled deliverables and optimizing user experience while maintaining accountability for our private and professional astronaut and customer clients throughout their mission. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about customer service and excels at problem solving. The role requires strong project management, integration, organizational, time management, and communication skills. The Customer Integration Project manager will report to the Axiom Space's Manager of Customer Integration and Crew Operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee project management and operational systems of the Integration Schedule for mission deliverables and crew/customer facing technology, working and collaborating closely within Mission Services for mission efficiency, other business units across Axiom Space and maintaining external vendor relationships for tool improvements
Champion and interface with mission teams to influence and build systems, processes and workflows and develop streamlined operational concepts for Axiom Private Astronaut Missions
Facilitate cross-functional teamwork by championing collaborative tools and technologies
Provide technical systems knowledge and expertise guidance for our operational processes and procedures
Aid in development of Axiom’s overall approach to all required mission operations and integration via thoroughly researched options, experience/expertise, and sound rationale
Lead, coordinate schedules and conduct debrief sessions between our Crew, Customers, Agencies and Axiom Space
Serve as the primary liaison for audience engagement, coordinating the organization and distribution of correspondence from supporters and enthusiasts while maintaining positive relationships
Maintain relationships with previous crew members, facilitating pre- and post-mission briefings to gather insights and provide family support if needed
Provide mission logistical support, including integration schedule oversight and management of flexible assignments within the team
Lead onboarding activities, coordinating with Customer Integration & Crew Operations and relevant teams
Serve as ground support for launch, real-time mission operations, and splashdown, facilitating family support during critical mission stages
Oversee and support post-mission crew activities, coordinating with all teams for smooth execution
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
Perform additional job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field
5+ years of experience in project management or operations, preferably within aerospace, aviation, or high-tech environments
Strong understanding of contract management and operational logistics.
Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, particularly during real-time mission operations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
Experience with PowerApps or similar technology platforms is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience working in the aerospace industry, particularly in customer-facing or mission support roles
Knowledge of crew and mission operations in spaceflight environments
Experience working with customer experience, marketing and guest operations teams
Working Conditions:
Flexibility to work irregular hours during mission operations, including launch, splashdown, and post-mission events
Occasional travel may be required for mission-related activities

Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
