Our mission-driven team is seeking a collaborative and dynamic Senior Revenue Programs Manager who is preoccupied with big questions: Where do we go from here? What are the limits of innovation and exploration? How do we continue to evolve as a species?
Summary: The Senior Revenue Programs Manager reports to the Director of Revenue Operations and is responsible for overseeing the revenue operations team. This role with be onsite at our headquarters in Houston, TX.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Become on expert on Axiom Space’s offerings and capabilities and develop a means to stay up to date in the rapidly developing environment
- Set goals for the Revenue Operations team and build strategies and project plans to accomplish the goals in alignment with our core value of leading
- Partner with other Revenue team leadership to define product offerings, as well as to providing feedback on product offerings learned during agreement negotiations or operational phases in alignment with our communications competency
- Partner with other Revenue team leadership to ensure an efficient revenue process is developed, improved upon, and maintained in alignment with our core value of integrity
- Work with cross-functional groups to ensure that agreements are structured in a way that revenue will be recognized properly while addressing the concerns of the internal stakeholders in alignment with our competency of teamwork
- Develop and refine processes around the execution of deals, including contract negotiations, internal approval of deals, contract flow down, invoicing, and others
- Coach, develop, and manage a team of program managers, growing the team as necessary to meet the increasing needs of the revenue department aligned with our competency of ethics
- Participates with program managers on regular international government program reviews
- Negotiates spaceflight agreements with international governments and advises or assists during negotiations with corporate sponsorships aligned with our competency of problem solving
- Prepares weekly analytics for the Director of Revenue Operations
- Works closely sales, marketing, legal, and finance in developing strategies, opportunities, and agreements, especially for international governments aligned with our core value of innovation

Education & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience, preferably in aerospace/defense business development or program management
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales or business management role, including experience with ROMs, proposals, contract negotiations
- 3+ years’ experience managing teams with a cross-functional focus
- Bachelor’s Degree: Marketing/Business concentrations preferred
- Strong Project Management/ Program Management experience
- Experience with business case execution with a strong financial acumen
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Experience in developing strong relationships with partners (internal and external) and government representatives through superior communication skills, cultural awareness, and sensitivity
- Experience in aerospace, marketing, and/or sales is preferred
- Experience with FMS (Foreign Military Sales) or DCS (Direct Commercial Sales) preferred
- Additional duties as assigned
Essential Functions
- Work Environment: Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Requirements
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones, sometimes with short notice
Physical Requirements
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).
