Aware Healthcare is a new mental health care company seeking licensed therapists (Masters or Doctoral) to consult on the development of a new clinical platform. We are building a mobile app for patients and a web app for providers to simplify the delivery of Measurement Based Care.

We are looking for therapists interested in delivering the next generation of mental health care and pioneering a new type of data-driven and tech-enabled treatment.

For example, one feature of the platform called “Biomarkers” acts as a 24/7 “Thermometer for the Mind” by enabling providers to continuously receive measures of behavior (e.g. social behavior, physical activity, cognitive functioning) from patients’ personal digital devices (e.g. smartphones, wearables), without any work required by the patient or provider.

Features of the platform include:

• Assessments: automatically send/receive any clinical assessment (e.g. PHQ-9, GAD-7)
• Interventions: assign, automatically track, and measure impact for every intervention
• Biomarkers: objectively, continuously, and passively measure client symptoms
• Correlations: see the interrelationship between symptoms, behaviors, and outcomes
• Graphs: view all of the data above on a beautiful HIPAA-compliant web interface

The platform is currently live with an initial 10 providers and 100 patients, and so far they report:

• Improved outcomes: by using objective (not just subjective) measures of progress
• Less guesswork: by tracking what interventions really work for what types of clients
• More clients: by building a database of proven outcomes to use as marketing material
• Fewer dropouts & no-shows: by motivating clients with more evidence of progress

Qualifications:

• Minimum:
• Licensed therapist (as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, LMHC, LPC, PsyD, or PhD)
• At least 2 years of experience as a licensed therapist working with adults
• Currently providing virtual or in person psychotherapy to at least 10 clients
• Practices evidence-based therapy and measurement-based care
• Preferred:
• Comfortable with technology and/or tech-friendly
• Motivated to improve access to high quality mental health care
• Excited to play a role in shaping the next generation of mental health treatment
• Interested in joining a community of data-driven therapists
