We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our Capital Markets team as we experience high growth. You will work alongside our Relationship Managers and Capital Leads to identify and engage companies looking to raise debt capital, and assist those teams as borrowers work through the raise process on the Arc platform. This is a rare opportunity to make a direct impact on business strategy and growth, working directly with Arc’s entire executive team.
🚀 What You'll Accomplish Here
Perform 100+ activities across email, phone, and LinkedIn daily to target qualified CFOs and CEOs at companies likely to need Arc’s capital markets solution.
Qualify inbound borrowers from various channels.
Schedule 12+ meetings per week for the Relationship Manager team.
Create 6+ opportunities per week for the Relationship Manager team.
Sit in on client calls, take notes, and own part of the client follow up communications.
Ensure deals stay on track by routinely following up with active leads and opportunities.
Improve the SDR motion by helping document key processes, improve forecast, and increase sales velocity.
Constantly learn about debt products and sales methodology alike.
🌟 What You Bring
Experience in a cold outbound prospecting role.
Some familiarity with finance, and debt capital more specifically (academic, professional, or otherwise).
Ability to “wear multiple hats” as a team player in order to prioritize the dynamic business needs of a high-growth organization.
Exceptional written and communication skills, with an ability to work quickly with little oversight.
Strong self-management, drive and organizational skills with ownership and pride in your work and ability to juggle multiple projects.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment is essential.
Ownership mentality, bias for action, highly motivated, strong work ethic.
