Description
  • Business Development and Sales: Proactively identify, cultivate, and establish strong relationships with RIAs (and ultimately platform financial advisers). Understand their needs, how our products and services can help address those needs, and how to close/manage/grow those relationships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities within the RIA community and keep abreast of industry trends and competitors. Help educate AV about needs, opportunities, priorities, etc., for this community.
  • Sales Targeting: Build and manage a pipeline of RIA prospects, with realistic assessments on deal potential and likelihood of closing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team and AV investment professionals to develop and execute outreach strategies and approaches, marketing materials, and pitches tailored for the RIA audience.
  • Client Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new RIA clients.
  • Account Management: Ensure long-term RIA satisfaction and retention, looking to grow accounts through more clients, higher re-ups, and investment into new products — as well as satisfaction of their customers.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Regularly report progress, sales forecasts, and market insights to the Head of Business Development/senior leadership. Continually refine strategies based on data analytics.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business development activities adhere to regulatory standards and best practices, working with our team, consultants, and your own basis of knowledge.
