As a CAD Engineer at Akselos, you will:

• Review and assess customer-supplied technical data (drawings, models, specifications).
• Build high-quality 3D CAD models from 2D drawings or asset pictures.
• Modify 3D CAD models for new designs and simulations as needed.
• Generate high-quality meshes complying with requirements from associated-industry standards.
• Document CAD & meshing decisions, assumptions made, and mesh quality metrics.
• Perform Quality Assurance procedures to ensure work quality.
• Optimize CAD & mesh frameworks and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of technical drawing standards (ISO, ASTM, ANSI, EN, DIN, BSI, etc.) and drawing systems (e.g., Oil and Gas industry).
• Familiarity with 3D CAD Modeling processes.
• Familiarity with Quality Assurance Procedures following industry standards.
• Proficiency in English writing and reading skills.
• General knowledge of the operation of various asset types (e.g., pipelines, pressure vessels, FPSOs).
• Understanding of safety guidelines and API FFS standards relevant to downstream assets (API-579 and API-610).
• Familiarity with the finite element analysis workflow.
• Ability to implement automation of 3D CAD modeling/meshing procedures.

Preferred Skills:

• 1 year of experience working on industrial 3D CAD modeling and associated QA procedures.
