About This Role:

As an IT Support Analyst at Akselos, you will ensure our IT infrastructure operates flawlessly and securely. You will work directly with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and play a significant role in projects that enhance our systems and cybersecurity measures.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Promptly address and resolve IT support inquiries from employees.
  • Offer technical assistance for issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and networks.
  • Document IT processes and guidelines.

Network and Systems Maintenance:

  • Maintain and monitor network integrity.
  • Conduct regular system backups and data recovery operations.
  • Analyze and optimize the use of internal tools and software.

Cybersecurity - Training and Reporting:

  • Enforce and update cybersecurity policies.
  • Lead cybersecurity orientations for new hires.
  • Organize and conduct regular cybersecurity training.
  • Report on staff progress and compliance with cybersecurity training.

IT Equipment Management:

  • Purchase and configure hardware for employees.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT equipment.
  • Manage the allocation and setup of IT equipment for staff.

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Set up IT systems for new employees, including necessary software installations.
  • Handle the retrieval of IT equipment and access revocation upon employee departure.
  • Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes through automation.

User Training:

  • Conduct training sessions on new software and IT policies.
  • Develop and update user manuals and documentation.
  • Establish a dedicated IT Support section on the company Intranet.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of IT on implementing IT projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with other departments to meet their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Understandably communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, minimum CFC.
  • Demonstrates proven experience of 1-2 years in IT support, IT coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, who is able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Skilled at diagnosing and solving technical issues with attention to detail and the ability to learn new tools and tasks quickly.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Experienced with various operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Google Workspace applications.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

Considered as a plus:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar.
  • Experience about ISO and ISMS.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
