6 Month Full-time Internship Starting August 2023

As a part of the HR department, you will play an important role in both the daily HR operations and the strategic decision-making that comes with running a disruptive business.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for people-oriented candidates with a passion for entrepreneurship to take a proactive role in administrative and management tasks.

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in Akselos’ smooth operations. Their main responsibilities are to coordinate the different departments and employees and assist the Head of HR with the acquisition, management, and retention of talent. Moreover, they will be given the opportunity to lead various independent projects improving the company’s processes.

As a key member of the HR Department, you will have the opportunity to lead your own independent projects and be involved in the following activities:

Payroll: Implementation and execution of payroll processes for our global team:

By leading the payroll cycle you are able to oversee our global payroll execution process. You have the opportunity of implementing payroll changes by their respective due dates and managing our international payroll providers.

HR Information Systems and Administration: Maintaining internal HR administrative systems:

By keeping HR data up-to-date with our internal HR systems you are capable of maintaining employee compensation and benefit records and registering our employer contributions. You will also be managing the logistics behind employee entry and exit formalities, ensuring Akselos standards are maintained.

Talent Acquisition: Supporting the Head of HR in talent recruitment and leading intern recruitment:

Screening CV’s, setting up interview dates and carrying-out interviews are just some of the exciting key aspects you will be leading whilst recruiting new members of our team!

Presenting Akselos at talent attraction initiatives (such as career fairs at EHL and EPFL) and advising your fellow interns on the hiring process will be another role you will partake in!
