Agolo seeks a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive the company’s growth. The BDR drives the company’s growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, executing strategic sales initiatives, and contributing to achieving revenue goals. The BDR will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment and optimize the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify high-value prospects through research, networking, and outreach efforts
- Develop tailored outreach strategies to engage potential clients via LinkedIn, email, and phone
- Write impactful emails with strong subject lines and CTAs
- Leverage platforms like LinkedIn for prospecting and engagement
- Integrate GenAI tools into your daily workflows
- Pipeline Management:
- Develop an extensive list of interested prospects and leads
- Manage and grow a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Identify high-potential prospects to ensure an efficient pipeline development
- Accurately track and document all interactions in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct discovery calls to understand and align prospects' needs with company solutions
- Present the company’s value proposition to prospects
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate weekly and develop briefs to share with marketing to refine messaging and target personas
- Schedule introductory presentations and demonstrations for Sales and Executive Leadership
- Partner with Sales to transition qualified leads
- Self-Management and Resilience
- Handle rejection without losing motivation
- Juggling multiple tasks, follow-ups, and meetings efficiently
- Experiment with new sales techniques and message
Your Skills:
- Persuasive communication skills – craft compelling written and verbal messages to compel decision-makers and influencers to take action
- Storytelling - communicate Agolo’s value proposition through relatable, impactful narratives
- Active listening skills – fully understand the customer's pain points and needs
- Objection Handling – Addressing client concerns with confidence and clarity
- Value Selling – Articulating benefits and ROI rather than focusing solely on features
- Networking – build and nurture relationships with partners and customers
- Emotional intelligence – understand and respond to the customer’s emotions in communication
- Resilience – adapt and recover quickly from challenges, setbacks, and rejection

- CRM Mastery - understand how to use CRM and sales enablement tools efficiently and effectively
About you:
- You have 3+ years in high-growth B2B AI, SaaS, or Software
- You're located in the US and excel at working remotely
- You excel at hitting at building new relationships
- You are a fantastic verbal and written communicator
- You’re resilient, self-motivated, and passionate
- You're genuinely excited about immersing yourself in the world of our prospects and customer
- You take pride in enabling and supporting your teammates and consistently look for ways to make everyone better
- You have demonstrated success in business development
- You're familiar with the different types of marketing functions, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing
- You have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
