Role Overview

As an Email Automation Specialist at Veem, you will manage and optimize the entire customer lifecycle through email campaigns. You’ll oversee end-to-end production, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, QA, and reporting. A key part of your role will involve planning and executing various email campaigns, such as pre-acquisition prospecting, post-acquisition nurturing, and churn reduction.

You will handle Veem’s prospect database, lead cleanup initiatives, and effective targeting strategies. Your focus will be on managing the lifecycle journey, identifying drop-off points, and developing strategies to improve engagement and conversion throughout the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management: Own the production of email campaigns from conception through deployment, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, and QA.

  • Database Ownership: Take charge of Veem’s prospect database (HubSpot), manage database cleanup, and implement effective targeting and segmentation strategies.
  • Daily Marketing Activities: Handle day-to-day email marketing tasks, including campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, deployment, and database management.
  • Campaign Execution: Plan and execute pre-acquisition, post-acquisition, and churn reduction campaigns.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the customer lifecycle journey, identifying drop-off potentials and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Lead Scoring & Nurturing: Create lead scoring models and design targeted nurture campaigns to engage and convert prospects throughout the funnel.
  • Compliance: Ensure all email campaigns adhere to consumer protection laws (CAN-SPAM, CCPA, TCPA, GDPR, CASL, etc.).
  • Technical Integration: Oversee integrations with CRM and lead generation platforms like Salesforce and ZoomInfo, and set up automated campaigns based on intent signals.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze campaign metrics and business performance to optimize results, focusing on engagement, conversion, revenue, and growth.
  • Email Creation: Design HTML emails from scratch, update templates, and draft compelling email copy and subject lines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle/email marketing, lead nurturing, and marketing automation, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience in database management, cleanup, and list segmentation.
  • Strong understanding of email and CRM best practices, including content creation, list management, and campaign automation.
  • Familiarity with acquisition, engagement, and retention campaigns.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other marketing automation tools like Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Financial or Fintech experience is a plus.
